Obstetrics and Gynaecology

After
completing Pre University from Madras Christian College, Dr. Kalaichandran had
his under graduate medical training at the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and
Mangalore and received the MBBS degree from the University Of Mysore.
He had several years of postgraduate training in
Obstetrics and Gynaecology and General Practice in the United Kingdom,
leading to MRCOG, postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the
Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, London. He was also awarded an
independent practice license as a Principal in General Practice in the UK.
Dr Kalaichandran immigrated to Canada and had further training in
Obstetrics and Gynecology in the national Capital, at the University of
Ottawa, and was awarded FRCSC, by the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada. He is a Fellow of the Society of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology of Canada. |

The
Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (London, England) elected him a
Fellow on 25 May 2001 in accordance with the By-Law whereby "the Council may
elect to the Fellowship such of the Members of the College as are deemed to
have advanced the science and/or practice of obstetrics and gynaecology or
to have attained such position in the profession of medicine or other
spheres as to merit the promotion".
The
University of Ottawa appointed him a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
in 2003. |
